Michael Rocha is one of the founding members of Brooks & Rocha, PLLC. Michael concentrates his practice on real estate transactions and development. In the course of his career, Michael has represented lenders, commercial retail developers, home builders and property owners in the financing, acquisition, development, and sale of properties throughout Florida. His experience includes negotiating, structuring, and closing transactional matters related to both commercial and residential real estate development projects.
Michael also routinely handles real estate related litigation matters. He regularly represents insured parties and underwriters for major title insurance companies in cases involving insurance claims related to title disputes and title defense, priority of liens, coverage issues, and agent defalcation.
In addition to his real estate practice, Michael also advises closely held companies in the areas of general business law, corporate law, entity formation and business-related disputes.
Prior to forming Brooks, & Rocha PLLC, Michael was a Partner at Petitt Worrell Rocha Sheppard PLLC, as well as a Shareholder and Associate at Smolker Bartlett Schlosser Loeb & Hinds, P.A. (f/k/a Bricklemyer Smolker & Bolves, P.A.).
